Late Poem
Sorry my post is late this week everyone. I've ran into some pretty serious technology issues during out class last Wednesday evening. I fell victim to a scam due to a virus on my laptop (*headsmack*). And now my computer is in the shop getting diagnosed and fixed. I told you all I was behind the times. Hopefully I will have it back Monday! Unfortunately this has meant I haven't gotten to listen to the re or sing from class I missed. But hoping to to,or row and add to my post. Take care all and best wishes on your posts this week.
Here's my poem from pg. 39 in our text, a week late everyone ;)
Danielle (Dawson) Nardi
Danielle
Committed, Caring, Compassionate, and Independent
Sister of Karress/daughter of Brad and Tommie Lynn...
Lover of Jesus, Eloise, and Isabelle...
Who feels slightly anxious, tired, and anticipatory...
Who fears brown recluse spiders, heights/tall buildings/hills/platforms, and deep wells...
Who would like to see the Grand Canyon, Colorado Rocky Mountains, and Maine/easter Canadian coastline (places not items...?)...
Resident of Columbia, Missouri

Below is an image of a book I found that sounded fun, engaging, and educational. Enjoy!

Oh No Danielle, hopefully you get it up and running soon. Our assignment for this post was to make a poem about ourselves using the format she sent us in an email and or also found on page 39 of our text if that helps you.
ReplyDeleteThank-you!!
DeleteOh no! So sorry that happened! I wish you luck getting your computer back up and running again.
ReplyDeleteOh no, I am so sorry to hear that!!! Girl i feel like if its not one thing is another. lol i really wish you luck with your computer, I have found out that its almost impossible to go without a computer and internet (first world problems haha) but with a child at home and all life happening its hard!! I feel for you!! Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, that stinks! How did you get the virus!? Email? We were supposed to write a biographical poem and then discuss vocabulary words that we find difficult or didn’t know beforehand from chapters 1,2, and 3. It’s under content for Week 1. I hope you get your computer back soon! I look forward to reading your poem.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI actually got a virus from panicking and letting myself get scammed from an online scammer/hacker telling me they were from "Microsoft" and they were going to fix it. Well that was not the case, haha. I took it in to my local computer repair shop and got it taken care of thankfully, it just took a little longer ;) I learned a valuable lesson :P
DeleteDanielle,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your blog! I do hope you get your computer back and fixed....it is no fun to have technical issues when you are in class. Fingers crossed, the only issue I have run into is loosing power and having to be on my phone. Good luck getting things taken care of!

Yes Michelle it's definitely tough! I've run into something similar before in another course, where my mic just stopped working so I was still in the class but also using my cell phone for the mic, ha! Thanks.
