Assignment : Summarize what we learned, and write a sentence for each of our word wall words... Umami, lucubration, nesh, paralipsis, hygge #hygge :

1. Umami. The umami tasted good in the stir fry.
2. Lucubration. This course is causing me some lucubration. ;)
3. Nesh. He was nesh upon moving north, after growing up in a Mediterranean climate.
4. Paralipsis. Paralipsis filled the room after his suggestive glance and short laugh upon hearing this.
5. Hygge. She enjoyed a moment of hygge as she drank her hot cocoa in front of the fire.

Assignments coming up week 5*, and week 6* 1st lesson, 100 questions (need turned in scope and sequence).

  1. Danielle,
I enjoyed reading your blog! I was able to get my scope and sequence finished and turned in but I am not sure it was what she wanted. We will see. :-D Your sentences are really thought out and give a great example as to the meaning of the word. Great thoughts!

  3. Hi Danielle, Thanks for posting your poem again because I did miss it the first time. I am also scared off brown recluse spiders, one time several years ago I was living in a rental house and I had one crawl on my bed after several attempts I killed it and then left the house to stay at a friends because I was too freaked out to stay at mine haha! I love how you used our vocabulary words your sentences are very creative.

  4. I enjoyed reading your poem. I am also afraid of spiders, especially the possibility of brown recluse spiders! Have you ever had any brown recluse spiders in your home? Good sentences for the vocabulary words we had last week. I’m glad we have this week to work on our lesson plans and 100 questions.

  5. Danielle, I love the word wall picture you chose! How cute. I love that idea, I didn't find anything like it when I was searching. I love your poem and would also love to see the places you listed. I love traveling and seeing new cultures and interacting with new people. You either witness something beautiful and learn how to be better, or witness something horrible and learn how to be better. Either way, traveling is wonderful and it changes you. I'm glad you like those types of places- they are so freeing!
